Play-Based Full-Day Camps

(Kindergarten–5th Grade)

We Play Portland offers play-based Full-Day Camps on scheduled No School Days throughout the 2025–2026 school year, aligned with the Portland Public Schools calendar. Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and cost $60 per child, per day. Programs are held at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church and/or Leaven Community Center, depending on the date and enrollment. Children must be five years old or in kindergarten (whichever comes first) to attend.

Our No School Day Camps are designed to give kids a fun, low-structure day filled with movement, creativity, and connection. Most of our day is spent outdoors at nearby parks and playgrounds, where kids can explore, build, create, and play together. We bring a variety of materials each day such as art supplies, building toys, balls, group games, and music, and kids are encouraged to help shape how they spend their time through child-led play.

Registration for No School Day Camps closes one week prior to the scheduled camp day, pending availability. Space is limited and camps often fill. Campers should bring a refillable water bottle, lunch and snacks, and clothing appropriate for the weather, as we go outside rain or shine.
